An “LGBT education pack” was recently promoted by a British supermarket retailer, Asda Stores. The educational packs contained explicit sexual material advertised toward primary and secondary aged schoolchildren. Parents quickly realized that the material objectifies young children and normalizes pedophilia. The packs are distributed by pro-LGBT organization, Diversity Role Models. Safe School Alliance and other child-oriented organizations in the United Kingdom raised serious concerns about Asda’s promotions because they conditioned children to accept pedophilia as a sexual orientation and promoted sexual activity for young children.
After parents spoke out, the grocery store chain apologized for promoting content that sexualized children. Asda Stores CEO, Roger Burnley, said he was “completely aghast that we have allowed ourselves to be associated in this way.”
“I would like to wholeheartedly apologize for this situation,” he said. The pack aimed for secondary-aged schoolchildren suggests that they read “Beyond Magenta.” This book features a six-year-old boy engaging in sexual activities with other children. The U.K.’s Christian Institute called out the disgusting pro-pedophilia propaganda and pointed out a specific passage in the pack’s reading material: “From six up, I used to kiss other guys in my neighborhood, make out with them, and perform oral sex on them. I liked it. I used to love oral.” The curriculum also links to the Pink News website, which contains adult sexual themes.
Another primary pack asked the student to ponder the meaning of “Love has no age limit.” The student is asked to watch a video and consider its premise. The material is provided by an LGBT group called Educate and Celebrate. These education packs are currently being used in schools. The Warwickshire country Council’s schools used the material in a program called All about Me. In the US, some states, like Illinois, are mandating that schools teach LGBT history and celebrate LGBT icons. What kind of perversions will be openly encouraged with this new mandate?
School officials in the UK, afraid to offend the LGBT community, hesitated to remove the embellished educational material, even as rational parents made their voice heard on the issue. When the Christian Institute threatened legal action, school officials began to drop the pedophilia-conditioning propaganda.
Parents were shocked at how inappropriate the material was, how it “overly sexualized behavior to the reader” and exposed their young children to disgusting and deviant sexual behaviors. The curriculum teaches “love is love” no matter who gives it, no matter how young or old they are. (Related: Pro-pedophilia messages now being embedded in Hollywood movies for children.)
“Some of our members are old enough to remember organizations such as PIE (Pedophile Information Exchange) and NAMBLA (North American Man/Boy Love Association) piggy-backing on civil liberties movements in the seventies and eighties and the damage it caused,” the alliance told the chief officer for the grocery chain that promoted the curriculum. “We are horrified that a supermarket has chosen to promote materials that have caused the public to conflate the LGBT community with pedophiles once again.”
