Conform or Die pretty much sums up the philosophy of today’s left, as Democrats are now openly signaling to Americans that if they want to maintain any semblance of normalcy in their lives, including their jobs, then they must publicly denounce conservatism and Christianity as an official rite of passage.
This was the message recently sent to Kathy Zhu, a Chinese-American who had previously won the title of Miss Michigan in the Miss World America (MWA) pageant. Because Zhu is a vocal conservative who once refused to be forcibly “branded” with a Muslim hijab during a protest on her college campus, she’s now being ordered to return her crown, sash, and title for being “insensitive.”
The 20-year-old University of Michigan student says she’s been engaged in a heated exchange of words via email with MWA State Director Laurie DeJack, who refuses to accept that fact that, under the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, Zhu has the right to not be forced to wear a Muslim hijab without her consent.
DeJack is not only upset that Zhu didn’t conform and join in on the Muslim protest by wrapping her head in a hijab, but she’s also taking issue with some statistical facts that Zhu posted to her Twitter account about how most black deaths are caused by other black citizens. DeJack has demanded that Zhu either delete this free speech, or else be stripped of her Miss Michigan title.
“I’m more than happy a light got shined on it,” Zhu stated graciously during a recent interview with The Detroit News. “For me, it wasn’t a big deal I got stripped of the title, it was more of how unfair it was for the whole process to have taken place. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else.”

Zhu isn’t the only victim of this far-left assault on free speech, as former U.S. Women’s Soccer star Jaelene Hinkle was forced to quit the team after refusing to don an LGBTQP “Pride Month” jersey in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s decision under Obama to legalize gay “marriage” nationwide.
As a Bible-believing Christian, Hinkle couldn’t in good conscience wear the rainbow-colored jersey, which represented and celebrated the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah that are repeatedly condemned in the Word of God for violating natural law – and consequently, she was ostracized and banished from further participating.
“I believe with every fiber in my body that what was written 2,000 years ago in the Bible is undoubtedly true,” Hinkle wrote in a post to Instagram. “This world may change, but Christ and His Word NEVER will,” she added.
While Hinkle lost her entire career as a result of staying true to her faith, she says she’s thankful for the opportunity to suffer as Christ did, which carries with it an eternal reward that’s infinitely greater than any fame or fortune she could have accumulated here on earth by compromising her beliefs and going along with the leftist cultural fascism of the day.
“I just felt so convicted in my spirit that it wasn’t my job to wear this jersey,” Hinkle later revealed in an interview.
“I gave myself three days to just seek and pray and determine what (God) was asking me to do in this situation. If I never get another national team call-up again then that’s just a part of His plan, and that’s okay. Maybe this is why I was meant to play soccer, to show other believers to be obedient.”
