Maura Priest, an assistant professor and bioethicist at Arizona State University (ASU), wants parents who refuse to go along with the transgender mutilation agenda to be forcibly separated from their children by the government.
In an op-ed she had published in the Journal of Medical Ethics, Priest wrote that “parents should lose veto power over most transition-related [pediatric] care” whenever they defy the wishes of their children who decide they want to take gender-bender drugs or undergo transition surgery to become an LGBTQ.
Should a trained medical “scientist” or “professional” determine that a child’s wishes are valid, based on an “informed and competent” desire to change genders, this, Priest contends, should override any and all parental opposition in the matter.
“If the medical community is to take LGBT testimony seriously (as they should) then it is no longer the job of physicians to do their own weighing of the costs and benefits of transition-related care,” Priest says.
“Assuming the patient is informed and competent, then only the [child] patient can make this assessment, because only the patient has access to the true weight of transition-related benefits.”
In other words, youth and their “trans-affirming” doctors should be able to make life-altering decisions without any involvement from parents, according to Priest. And should parents continue to refuse their children’s LGBTQ wishes, then parents must be cut off from being in their lives.
“Taking LGBT patient testimony seriously also means that parents should lose veto power over most transition-related [pediatric] care,” Priest says.

The fact that the Journal of Medical Ethics would publish this type of authoritarian tripe shows that it is neither trustworthy nor scientific, and it does not respect parental authority.
The Journal of Medical Ethics is also anti-child, supporting a heinously evil agenda that will cause many children to have their lives forever ruined by the Cult of LGBTQ, which is eating them alive at breakneck speed.
This cult is now openly admitting that it preys on innocent children in order to convert them into its religion, which centers around dogmas of sexual deviance, pedophilia, and other unspeakable evils.
While Priest’s article holds no legal or regulatory power, its publication does expand the range of what like-minded judges, doctors, and politicians might try to argue in favor of stamping out parental authority over their own children when it comes to matters of LGBTQ conversion or transition.
We are already seeing corrupt governments side with gender dysphoric children rather than their parents, allowing little ones who have been enticed into the Cult of LGBTQ to cut off body parts and take hormone-destroying pharmaceuticals in an attempt to become their “real selves.”
It is a sick, sick agenda that has already resulted in thousands of young boys and girls destroying their own biology, forever. Many of these procedures and “therapies” cannot be reversed, meaning these children will end up suffering immense anguish once they realize what they have done, resulting in many of them taking their own lives later on down the road.
The Biden regime, by the way, is fully supportive of the LGBTQ destruction of America’s youth. China Joe is planning to send taxpayer dollars to trans clinics to help more children ruin their own natural biology against their parents’ wishes, proving that he, too, is anti-children and anti-parents.
